Adelaide Artist Elyse Amanda
Elyse Amanda is an Adelaide based Artist. She produces a range of traditional and mixed media artwork, such as paintings and ceramics, based on various inspirations from the natural world, from plants, the outdoors and animals.

Elyse has been creating artwork since she was very young. As soon as she figured out that she could use scrap materials and leftover cardboard to make art when she was a child, she realised the world of potential to create. From this she picked up various artwork mediums and methods as she learnt and grew with the art world.
Drawing and painting through youth brought about the discovery of new mediums and methods and her unique creations grew over time. Elyse does not limit herself to a particular medium and endeavours to always experiment and try new things.

Her talents come in various areas as she easily takes to materials and adapts and manipulates them into stunning works of art. As she continues to grow her skills and collection of work, Elyse also branches out to new endeavours and learning experiences. This has made her an expert at being able to visualise a concept and then decide on the appropriate tools and mediums to bring the vision into reality.

After completing an Advanced Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design and spending a number of years in the Graphic Design, Web Design, and Marketing industry, Elyse Amanda found herself continually being drawn back to her artwork. Her background in Graphic Design has helped her evolve her artwork and has given her a better understanding of how design and art can compliment each other.
Recent explorations has brought her to the art of ceramics, in which she continues to enjoy and experiment with techniques, methods and mixed media applications.

Elyse recently completed a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business, which helped her further her skills in managing her business and marketing. She continues to spend time developing her skills as an artist and designer, including being actively involved in community arts in Adelaide, and passing on her knowledge to other aspiring artists.
